Dr. Caroline Cregan is a highly accomplished psychiatrist based in Washington, D.C., known for her expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry. With a medical degree from the University of Connecticut, she’s a passionate advocate for young patients’ well-being.

Dr. Cregan’s commitment to her field goes beyond her medical degree. She holds a Master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education, specializing in psychology and development. Her academic journey includes experience in standardized testing, particularly cognitive and achievement assessments.

She has served in a multidisciplinary Birth-to-Three (early intervention) program, where she honed her skills in child development. Dr. Cregan’s professional journey continued with a Psychiatry residency at Georgetown University Hospital and a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Yale Child Study Center, where she gained in-depth knowledge of the complexities of child and adolescent mental health.

As a testament to her dedication, Dr. Cregan has been actively involved in clinical Autism research as part of the Pediatrics and Neuropsychiatry group, contributing to advancements in the field.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Cregan has a strong commitment to education and consultation. She has previously played a pivotal role in a mobile mental health crisis team in D.C. and currently offers consultation services to a level 5 school, where she works closely with students ranging from 1st to 12th grade.
