About

Every Tool. One Practice.

At WIP Psychiatry & Ketamine/TMS Center, we provide comprehensive psychiatric care that integrates diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and interventional treatments within a single clinical framework.

We are a psychiatrist-led practice serving Washington, D.C. Maryland and Virginia.  Our work is grounded in core psychiatric principles: careful diagnosis, thoughtful risk–benefit assessment, and ongoing clinical oversight. Interventional treatments—including ketamine and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)—are incorporated into broader psychiatric care, rather than delivered as isolated services.

Psychiatric care is ongoing. Many of the conditions we treat require regular evaluation, adjustment, and support over time. Our approach reflects this—combining medication management with interventional treatments within a consistent, psychiatrist-led model.

Founded in 2017 by Dr. Navin Reddy and Dr. Christopher Raczynski, WIP was built to expand what modern psychiatric practice can responsibly offer while maintaining high clinical standards. The practice also serves as a clinical training site for Georgetown University psychiatry residents, reinforcing our commitment to education, structured care, and disciplined innovation.

Our Founders.

Washington Interventional Psychiatry was founded by Dr. Navin Reddy and Dr. Christopher Raczynski, who met during their training at Yale. Early in their careers, they recognized a structural gap in psychiatric practice: advanced treatments were emerging, yet often delivered outside of comprehensive psychiatric care.

As they progressed into leadership roles within larger institutions, they saw the need for a different model — one that preserved diagnostic rigor while integrating newer treatments within the practice of psychiatry itself. They shared a conviction that innovation in psychiatry should not come at the cost of fragmented care.

WIP was established to embody that model.

From its inception, the practice was designed as a psychiatrist-led framework integrating evaluation, medication management, and interventional treatments within a unified system of care. This structure allows the treating psychiatrist to maintain responsibility for clinical decision-making across the full course of treatment.

Training the next generation of psychiatrists remains central to the practice, including the education of Georgetown psychiatry residents within this integrated model of care.

WIP reflects a belief that psychiatric care should remain unified — with every tool integrated within one practice.

Our clinical model integrates psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff within a unified system of care. The team includes:

Psychiatrists

As a psychiatrist-led practice in Washington, DC, WIP is built around board-certified psychiatrists (MDs) specializing in psychiatric diagnosis, medication management, and advanced interventional treatments.

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners

Our nursing staff plays a central role in the delivery of interventional and on-site psychiatric care. They are trained in clinical monitoring, medication administration, and patient safety protocols to support treatments such as ketamine therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Working closely with our psychiatrists, our nurses ensure that care is delivered safely, consistently, and in alignment with established clinical standards.

Licensed Therapists & Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Washington Interventional Psychiatry works with licensed therapists and professional counselors who provide evidence-based psychotherapy across a range of mental health conditions.

Therapists collaborate closely with our psychiatrists to support comprehensive treatment plans and, when appropriate, participate in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) within a structured medical framework. This integrated model allows psychotherapy, medication management, and interventional treatments to be coordinated under consistent clinical oversight.

Licensed Professional Counselors

Our counselors bring additional perspectives and therapeutic approaches, further enhancing our ability to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

Administrative & Clinical Support Infrastructure

To support continuity of care, Washington Interventional Psychiatry utilizes a dedicated team of trained virtual assistants with backgrounds in healthcare administration, nursing support, and insurance coordination.

Each psychiatrist and nurse practitioner is paired with a dedicated assistant. The level of involvement is tailored to the clinician’s workflow and the needs of the patient, creating a structured system for communication, medication refills, scheduling, insurance coordination, and documentation.

This model promotes timely responses, expedited prescription management, and coordinated follow-up while allowing physicians to focus on clinical decision-making and direct patient care.

Coordinated, Psychiatrist-Led Care

Care at Washington Interventional Psychiatry is delivered within a coordinated clinical model. Psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and support staff work within a shared framework to ensure that diagnostic evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy, and interventional treatments are aligned.

This structured approach allows biological, psychological, and social factors to be addressed systematically, with clear clinical oversight and continuity of care across treatment modalities.
