Dr. Thomas Shaver is a board-certified psychiatrist with expertise in adult and forensic psychiatry. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, followed by subspecialty certification in forensic psychiatry from the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
At Washington Interventional Psychiatry, Dr. Shaver provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. His approach combines psychotherapy, medication management, and advanced interventional treatments such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine therapy. Patients value his thoughtful, collaborative style and his ability to tailor care to each individual’s needs and goals.
