Our limited membership-based model is designed for individuals and families who value frequent access to their psychiatrist, consistent continuity of care, discretion, and long-term personalized guidance. Dr. Ashvin Sood, a board-certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist, will provide tailored support and coaching to help you navigate your mental health care.

Our personalized concierge psychiatry service emphasizes:
Dr. Ashvin Sood is a board-certified adult and child & adolescent psychiatrist with expertise in complex mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorders, and treatment-resistant presentations. He received his adult psychiatric training from New York University (NYU) as well as child and adolescent psychiatry training from New York Presbyterian Cornell/Columbia. Aside from experience working with executives and founders, Dr. Sood has worked as an advisor for different companies, which has provided him with an understanding of high-stress business environments. Dr. Sood also has expertise in media work, serving as a media contributor for Newsweek as well as Everyday Health. Academically, Dr. Sood is highly published author and actively teaches at various institutions across the country.
1) Initial Consultation
15 minute consultation with Dr. Sood to explore your needs and whether this model is the right fit.
2) Suitability Assessment
Complete a comprehensive 60-minute paid consultation to evaluate mutual compatibility and clinical appropriateness. Membership is offered selectively based on clinical fit.
3) Enrollment decision
If accepted, you’ll receive the concierge services agreement and onboarding information.
Although our main office is currently located in Washington, DC, many of our patients opt for virtual appointments with Dr. Ashvin Sood. Our concierge psychiatry service is available to those who meet the requirements and are also residents of the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
Separately billed / evaluated
Washington Interventional Psychiatry works on a private pay basis and does not participate with insurance plans. We can provide documentation for out-of-network submission if applicable.
