Lindsey Markwood is a licensed clinical social worker in Washington, DC and Virginia with over 20 years of experience supporting adults, couples, and families through depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. She holds a master’s in clinical social work from The Catholic University of America and has completed advanced training in Object Relations Psychotherapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD.
At Washington Interventional Psychiatry, Lindsey specializes in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), a therapeutic approach that combines the healing potential of ketamine treatment with deep psychological work. She helps patients process trauma, depression, and anxiety in a compassionate, collaborative environment—exploring the patterns that hold them back and creating pathways for meaningful, lasting change.
Lindsey offers both in-person and virtual sessions and works in close partnership with WIP psychiatrists to ensure each patient receives safe, coordinated, and personalized care.
