Amanda attended nursing school at Saint Francis University in rural Pennsylvania, and her impressive career spans 18 years of ICU expertise across various specializations. In 2006, she embarked on her nursing journey at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, where she made her mark in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Subsequently, she shifted her focus to the Surgical-Trauma Intensive Care Unit in Altoona, Pennsylvania. For the past 15 years, she has called George Washington University Hospital her professional home, specializing in the intensive care of Cardio-Thoracic patients. When she’s not passionately caring for patients at GWUH or contributing to her work at Washington Interventional Psychiatry, she cherishes precious moments with her husband, two kids, and their beloved dog, indulging in RV camping adventures at scenic parks throughout Virginia.
