Dr. Qian is an adult psychiatrist who treats depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD, and who provides interventional treatments including TMS and Spravato (esketamine). He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
A Maryland native, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland, College Park, earned his MD at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed psychiatry residency in the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt program.
Many of his patients are seeking psychiatric care for the first time; others come to him when antidepressants haven’t worked and they want to explore TMS, ketamine or Spravato. He combines medication management, psychotherapy rooted in psychodynamic therapy and informed by DBT, and interventional treatment when it fits.
