Family Nurse Practitioner

Maghan Burge is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with broad
experience across primary care, urgent care, and high-acuity critical care. She
provides evidence-based, patient-focused care at Washington Interventional
Psychiatry, where she supports treatment delivery for patients receiving ketamine
and other interventional psychiatric services.


Maghan earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marymount University
and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The
George Washington University. She also maintains the CCRN credential,
reflecting advanced competency in caring for critically ill patients. Her clinical
background includes work in Level I trauma centers, cardiothoracic and medical-
surgical ICUs, and family medicine practices, where she managed a wide range
of medical and behavioral health conditions.


At WIP, Maghan performs comprehensive pre-treatment evaluations, administers
ketamine and Spravato according to clinical protocols, and monitors patients
throughout treatment to ensure safety and stability. She collaborates closely with
supervising psychiatrists and contributes to accurate documentation and
coordinated care planning.


Maghan is committed to clear communication, patient education, and creating a
calm, professional environment throughout treatment sessions. Outside of clinical
practice, she enjoys time with her family and staying engaged in continuing
professional development
